Ashtanga Yoga
The Ashtanga Classes will be happening every other morning. Your Lead Teacher will be there to guide you through the entire Primary Series, offering modifications for the more challenging poses as needed. Ashtanga Yoga Self-Practice will kick off during the third week of your teacher training. During this period, you’ll have the freedom to complete the series at your own rhythm and according to your own schedule. Your teachers will be available to evaluate your alignment and help you delve deeper into the postures if desired.
Yoga Asana Practice
We know the mind and body like variety. Because of this, in the TTC at Kranti Yoga you can choose your morning asana practice according to your needs of the day and the moment.
You can choose if you want the challenge of the traditional ashtanga class, the meditation of the hatha yoga class, or the dance of the vinyasa flow.
So, there will always be a morning practice to meet you where you are – to balance the body, steady the mind, and free the soul!
Yoga Technical Yoga Workshops
The Anatomy and Alignment workshops help you modify Ashtanga Yoga postures and develop your own practice. They allow you to explore the anatomy and alignment of key poses found in Vinyasa Flow. The technical workshops focus on specific postures like Headstand, Chaturanga, and Transitions, providing a fun and playful environment for learning.
Yoga Adjustments
Students will develop a strong practice of Ashtanga Yoga while you study how to adjust each of these postures. Students will learn The Primary Series through a series of Ashtanga Yoga Led Classes and Self-Practices on alternate mornings. The daily Adjustments Workshop will provide the opportunity to learn and practice your alignment and adjustments on each other. Students will then adjust peers in selected morning practices. The adjustments of some popular Vinyasa Flow postures will also be explored.
Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa Flow Morning Practice will take place on alternate days. These classes will demonstrate dynamic sequencing that will inspire you to teach your own classes. Our experienced 200 hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Teachers will guide you through each of the 2 hour sessions, taking you on a journey. Classes may work towards a peak posture, tell a story or set a particular technical intention. Classes will introduce you to new postures and techniques to achieve them. Each week, Vinyasa Flow Classes will cover Hip Opening, Back Bending and Strength.
